The Skyelander Rohloff is the flagship of the Skyelander range.

It’s the ideal companion for touring on roads with some towpaths thrown in.

 

The Rohloff eliminates the need for replacing derailleurs and the regular fine tuning of gear cables - the Rohloff hub has all this covered.

​

The Skyelander Rohloff frame is hand built in the UK using the quality air-hardened British Reynolds 631 steel for the main triangle.  The chainstays are also 631 and the seat stays Reynolds 725, and the forks Reynolds 631.

As well as being hand built in the UK, our frame and forks are lugged for increased durability. We can also build fillet brazed versions of the Skyelander Rohloff if this is preferred. We use stainless steel sliding dropouts with inserts for the Rohloff hub.

As all the frames are custom made we can build the Skyelander Rohloff frame with either a sloping top tube or horizontal. Most Skyelanders we build have an ahead stem (with 1 1/8” threadless steerer) which is a stronger set up, but if you’d prefer quill (1” threaded steerer) then just let us know.

The Skyelander Rohloff frame has clearance for 700c x 35mm tyres.

​

Every Skyelander Rohloff is made to order, including the frame, with the top tube and seat tube lengths fine tuned to each individual customer.
